The 23 year old from Haryana has assured the country another medal which is the third for the country and the first time the country will be in a three medal stand in the olympics.This is to encourage the future of athletics in the country which is mainly focused on cricket.Vijender kumar moved into the round of final 8 on wednesday by beating Carlos gongora of Ecuador in the 75 kg bout.
